Huangluo Yao Minority village is the only Yao people village in Longsheng area. People call them the red Yao people. Red Yao women since ancient times, has long traditions and customs of continuing their long hair in life. 60 families are living in this village and even now there are over 100 women in the village had their hair up to over one meter long. The longest up to 1.7 meters. So here is not only famous for its unique culture but more known as the world's No. 1 long-haired village. When we visiting their home, young Yao girls always singing and dancing show their deeply welcome to the guests and also we will be invited to join their unique local dance performances and traditional PE sports. Great fun and learning will be set in all these. Special arranged visiting to Longsheng Hope Primary School which will give you a totally different experiences.
